Registration for the NEET-UG 2024 – Starts January
The start of registration for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) – 2024 is expected in January 2024. The NTA has officially announced the NEET exam date as May 5. To ensure a smooth application process, candidates are advised to prepare all required documents in advance. NEET UG 2024 Documents Required For Registration
To apply for NEET (UG) 2024, candidates must visit https://neet.nta.nic.in/. During the online application submission, candidates need to upload scanned images in JPG/PDF format with specific size requirements:
- Latest Passport size Photograph in JPG format (size: 10 kb to 200 kb)
- Post Card size photograph (4” X6”) in JPG format (Size: 10 kb – 200 kb)
- Signature in JPG format (size: 4 kb to 30 kb)
- Left and Right-hand Fingers and Thumb impressions (size:10 kb to 200 kb)
- Class 10 passed certificate in PDF format (file size: 50 kb to 300 kb)
- Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS etc.) in PDF format (file size: 50 kb to 300 kb)
- PwBD certificate in PDF format (file size: 50 kb to 300 kb)
- Citizenship Certificate/ Embassy Certificate or any Documentary proof of Citizenship certificate in PDF format (file size: 50 kb to 300 kb)
NEET UG 2024 Number of Attempts; Age Limit
The Eligibility for appearing in NEET (UG), as per related Regulations of NMC and DCI, are as follows;
- Be at least 17 years old by December 31 of the admission year.
- No upper age limit exists, according to the National Medical Commission.
- Indian/OCI students aiming for foreign medical courses must pass NEET (UG), as per NTA’s bulletin for 2023.
How to Fill NEET 2024 Application Form
- Registration: Go to the official NEET website (https://neet.nta.nic.in/), sign up with your details, and create a password.
- Fill Form: Log in and complete the application form with personal, academic, and contact details.
- Upload Documents: Upload scanned images of required documents (photos, signature, certificates) as per the specified formats and sizes.
- Payment: Pay the application fee using the online methods available.
- Review and Submit: Double-check all details before submitting the form.
- Confirmation: After successful submission, generate and save the confirmation page.
- Admit Card: Download the admit card when it is released.
- Prepare for the Exam: Study for the exam following the NEET (UG) syllabus.
- Exam Day: On the exam day, bring the admit card and necessary ID proof to the test centre.

Eligibility criteria to study MBBS abroad
