The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the commencement of the registration process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025. Aspiring candidates can submit their applications online from February 7, 2025, until March 7, 2025, up to 11:50 PM IST. The NEET UG 2025 examination is scheduled to be held on May 4, 2025 (Sunday).

  • Correction Window: March 9 – 11, 2025
  • City Intimation Announcement: By April 26, 2025
  • Admit Card Release: By May 1, 2025
  • Examination Date: May 4, 2025 (2:00 PM to 5:00 PM IST)
  • Result Declaration: By June 14, 2025 (Tentative)

NEET UG 2025 Application Process

Candidates aspiring to appear for the NEET UG 2025 exam must complete their registration online by the given deadline. The application process involves the following steps:

  1. Visit the Official Website: Go to neet.nta.nic.in.
  2. Access the Registration Link: On the homepage, click on the “NEET(UG)-2025 Registration and Online Application Form” link.
  3. Complete the Registration: Fill in the required personal and contact details to generate a provisional application number.
  4. Fill Out the Application Form: Log in using the provisional application number and complete the application form with the necessary details.
  5. Upload Documents: Upload scanned images of your recent passport-sized photograph, signature, and other required documents in the specified format.
  6. Pay the Application Fee: Submit the application fee through the available online payment methods.
  7. Submit and Print: Review all the entered information, submit the application, and print a confirmation page for future reference.

  • General-EWS/OBC-NCL: ₹1,600
  • SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender: ₹1,000
  • Candidates Outside India: ₹9,500

Documents Required for NEET UG Application 2025

To complete the NEET UG 2025 registration, candidates must upload the following documents:

  • Recent Passport-Sized Photograph (JPG/JPEG format, 10 kb to 200 kb)
  • Postcard-Sized Photograph (4”X6”, JPG/JPEG format, 10 kb to 200 kb)
  • Candidate’s Signature (JPG/JPEG format, 10 kb to 50 kb, must not be in capital letters, signed on white paper with a black pen)
  • Left and Right-Hand Fingers and Thumb Impressions (JPG/JPEG format, 10 kb to 200 kb)
  • Category Certificate (if applicable)
  • Person With Benchmark Disability (PwBD) Certificate (if applicable, PDF format, 50 kb to 300 kb)
  • Citizenship Certificate/Embassy Certificate/Proof of Citizenship (PDF format)

Reasons for NEET UG Application Rejection

To avoid rejection, candidates must strictly adhere to the prescribed guidelines. Applications will be rejected for the following reasons:

  • Submission of polaroid or computer-generated photos.
  • Unclear, missing, or fabricated photographs.
  • Uploading someone else’s photograph (will be treated as an Unfair Means Case).
  • Unsigned applications.
  • Submission of someone else’s signature (will be treated as an Unfair Means Case).
  • Unclear or missing fingerprint impressions.
