Open Meeting with Nasimjon Komilov, Founder of MEROS PHARM
On February 20, Samarkand State Medical University had the honor of hosting an open meeting with the founder of MEROS PHARM, Nasimjon Komilov. This event, organized for students, centered around the theme “Business in Medicine: Opportunities for Young Professionals.”

The meeting was conducted as an open dialogue, particularly engaging the university’s international students. It provided an invaluable opportunity for participants to engage directly with Nasimjon Komilov, raising questions about the intersection of business and medicine, and receiving insights from a successful industry leader.
In recognition of their active participation, several students were awarded special cash prizes by MEROS PHARM, further highlighting the company’s commitment to encouraging young talent.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Rector of Samarkand State Medical University, Jasur Rizayev, presented Nasimjon Komilov with a letter of appreciation, honoring his contribution to the event and the ongoing collaboration between the university and MEROS PHARM.

In addition, it was announced that a memorandum of understanding has been signed between the university and MEROS PHARM, fostering the development of joint projects. Notably, the company has also launched a scholarship competition specifically for SamSTU students, providing further support to aspiring medical professionals.
